Setting
The resort sits directly on Klong Muang Beach in Nong Thale, a quieter headland north of Ao Nang known for calmer, more protected water than the open-facing beaches further south. Around 240 rooms and suites are spread across eight low-rise buildings among gardens and lily ponds, rather than concentrated in one large block.
Rooms and facilities
Rooms carry Thai-style interiors with a private balcony as standard. The resort runs two beachfront pools, a spa, a fitness centre, tennis courts, and a water sports centre — enough on-site variety that a family could reasonably spend a full day without leaving the grounds.
The trade-off
Klong Muang is genuinely quieter than Ao Nang, which is the appeal — but it also means fewer independent restaurants and shops within walking distance. A small beachside plaza covers basics; anything more, and it's a 15-minute drive into Ao Nang.
Getting there
Around 40 minutes from Krabi International Airport by road, and roughly 15 minutes' drive from central Ao Nang.
Who it suits
