Why Krabi, and why one site just for it
Most "Thailand" travel sites cover the whole country a mile wide and an inch deep. Krabi alone has enough beaches, islands, temples and day trips to fill a genuinely useful site of its own — so that's what Awesome Krabi is: a single-destination guide, written in real depth, rather than one more general Thailand roundup.
How this site is built
We're publishing new guides several times a week, working systematically through every neighbourhood, activity and practical question travellers actually search for before and during a Krabi trip. Pages are grounded in real search behaviour — what people actually type into Google before visiting — rather than guesswork about what might be interesting to write.
Where we're headed
The plan is straightforward: keep adding depth in English first, then translate the site's core guides into multiple languages so travellers from more of the world can plan a Krabi trip in their own language. A German version of the homepage and several of the most-read guides is already live, with more languages and pages following the same pattern over time.
How we handle facts and figures
Prices, opening hours, ferry schedules and similar details move fast in a destination like Krabi — a park fee that's 400 THB today can change within a season. We note where something is time-sensitive, keep a dedicated travel news section for entry-requirement and transport changes specifically, and revisit older guides periodically rather than treating a published page as permanently correct.
What this site isn't
It isn't a place-for-place copy of any other guide, and it isn't written to rank for keywords at the expense of being useful — if a page can't say something a search result snippet couldn't already tell you, it isn't worth publishing. See a mistake, an outdated detail, or a gap in the coverage? Get in touch — this site is actively maintained, not a one-off project.
